SYNOPSIS
Nicknamed "The Brocéliande of the Vosges" by a 19th-century archaeologist, the Fossard massif is home to a unique mineral heritage: numerous megalithic and archaeological sites, including medieval quarries, and a unique geological subsoil.
THE DIRECTOR
Tristan Bordmann grew up in Alsace and in the Vosges department, where he has lived since 2015.
He earned his high school diploma (science track) in 2001. He received a BTS in Film from Rouen in 2003. He went on to earn a bachelor’s and master’s degree in Film from Paris III and Paris VII.
Since 2011, he has worked as a director of photography. He notably served as director of photography for the films *L'Été de Giacomo* (2012) and *Bientôt les jours heureux* by Alessandro Comodin.
He has also directed his own films: Le Monde du silence (2013), Voyage en Astrylie, and La chanson de Guigemar (2024). Tristan has also ventured into documentary filmmaking with La Montée impossible (2018) and Seamen’s Club (2023).
