SYNOPSIS
For over 25 years in Alsace, Christiane and Björn Fühler breathed life into inanimate objects, imbuing them with a part of themselves. This magic is the power of puppetry. For this power to be activated, a flow of life must be established between the creator and their creation. This year, Christiane and Björn's house will be sold, and their work will fall into oblivion. While life may be winding down for the founders of the Théâtre Le Manteau, a part of them still remains, surviving through the beings they brought to life.
LA REALISATRICE
A graduate of the Master's program in Directing and Creation at Paris 8 University, I directed my first documentary film, "Priscille," in 2022. Produced by Les Films du Bilboquet, it was filmed in the Vosges Mountains, where I'm from. That same year, I joined the "Heroines" workshop at La Scénaristerie and began writing a feature-length fiction film, which is currently being developed in collaboration with other writers.
Passionate about writing about reality, I remain committed to the art of documentary filmmaking and continue to pursue this passion. Alongside my own projects, I work as an assistant director on both fiction and documentary film shoots.
