SYNOPSIS
The film follows activists from the Extinction Rebellion movement, also known as XR.
Although very different, these five individuals share a common conviction. They stand up to what seems impossible: changing the world to save life.

LE REALISATEUR
Gautier Gumpper recently directed two films: "Le doux baiser de la Terre" (2023) and "Escale à l'îlot" (2024). Although very different in their approach, these documentaries share a common thread: giving a voice to people who have stepped outside the system.
From their own perspectives, these protagonists offer a view of our world that compels us to re-examine our convictions and principles. "XR - We Are Bound to the Impossible" similarly invites us to see the world in its complexity through the activist commitment of five protagonists determined to make a difference.
